US Army Parade: A huge military parade was held in Washington DC on the 250th anniversary of the US Army on Donald Trump’s 79th birthday. Trump honored the soldiers, administered oath to new recruits and warned global enemies. A ‘No Kings’ demonstration was also held against this parade.

Saturday evening went down in history in America. It was President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday, but the celebration was not his, but that of the American army. On the completion of 250 years of the American army, the army soldiers were marching proudly on the streets of the capital. Then Trump was not just applauding them, but was also declaring them ‘invincible warriors’ in front of the whole world.

From the National Mall to the White House, every step of the parade was filled with pride. President Trump challenged us from the stage and said, ‘If anyone threatens America, our soldiers will put an end to that person. Your defeat is certain, and your end is complete.’ During this, he stood up and saluted the soldiers in their honour.

84 military vehicles, 28 Abrams tanks, 6700 soldiers, roaring helicopters, and fireworks in the sky above- this scene was not a scene from a Hollywood movie, it was a live trailer of America’s power. Some people were saying that rain would slow down the pace of the parade, but in Trump’s words- ‘We never stop, never bow down… and never accept defeat.’

During this time, anti-Trump protests were held in many cities of America under the name ‘No Kings’. In New York alone, about 50,000 people took to the streets and shouted slogans against the President. But by the time the sound of soldiers was being heard in Washington, the slogans had been left behind.

The most emotional scene was in the last part of the parade, when 250 new soldiers took the oath of service to the country in front of the President.

It wasn’t just a parade. It was a celebration of 250 years of the legacy of the US military, honoring every generation, from veterans to newcomers.

When the parade reached its final stage, American singer Lee Greenwood came on stage and sang the song ‘God Bless the United States Army’.

This parade not only included tanks and soldiers, but also weapons that the US has sent to Ukraine to help it against Russia. Such as 31 Abrams tanks, 300 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 400 Stryker armored vehicles, and HIMARS rocket systems. This also gave the message that the US not only takes care of its borders, but also intervenes wherever needed in the world.
