China successfully launched two satellites on Thursday. These satellites have been launched to search for gravitational waves in well-planned orbits from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province. These satellites have been sent on the GECAM mission (Gravitational Wave High Energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All Sky Monitor Mission). They were launched in the morning via a launch Mar-11 carrier rocket.
The GECAM satellite will be used for monitoring high-energy astronomical events. For example gravitational waves gamma, radio waves, special gamma waves, magnetic waves and neutron stars, black holes, etc.

Earlier, China launched a Earth Observation Satellite on Sunday to keep a close eye on the Earth. This satellite, called Gaofen-14, is capable of taking high resolution photographs of ground objects in any part of the world. The satellite was launched by the Long March-3B rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, Southwest China.
