let us tell you that this statue of Mahatma Gandhi near the Indian Embassy in Washington was vandalized during demonstrations after the death of George Floyd in June this year. After which the Indian Embassy officials lodged a complaint with the Metropolitan Police and Park Police in the US. Later, Bapu’s statue was fixed by calling the expert. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee unveiled this statue on 16 September 2000 during his visit to America.
