Political earthquake has intensified in Pakistan. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a coalition of opposition parties, had asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to submit his resignation by 31 December 2020. Imran has not resigned so far.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) president Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, who is part of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), has once again demanded Imran Khan’s resignation. Bilawal Bhutto said on Sunday that the option of dialogue at the national level would be possible only after Imran Khan stepped down as Prime Minister.

According to Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper, Bilawal said in a press conference that when anti-incumbency and puppet Prime Minister Imran Khan resigns from his post, some kind of dialogue (negotiation) will pave the way. Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was on a visit to Thatta to express his condolences to the family of the late Ejaz Ali Shah Sheerazi, a former advisor to the Sindh chief minister.

Opposition preparing for long march

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is preparing to take out a long march in Islamabad, Pakistan, which will involve millions. Its date will be announced soon. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is set to surround Imran Khan under the same strategy as Imran used to topple Nawaz Sharif’s government three years ago.

Maryam Nawaz warns

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President and Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz says that Imran Khan’s government will come to an end when the opposition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) MPs resign. While addressing a big rally of PDM in Bahawalpur, Maryam made many allegations against the Imran Khan government.
