Mayorca, Reuters. Last year, Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma was seen on the island of Mayorca in Spain on his first overseas trip after fighting with Chinese regulators. Reports published in Spanish newspapers on Wednesday said that Jack Ma’s luxury yacht had anchored on the island.

The billionaire Chinese businessman came under fire from regulators last year for publicly criticizing the Chinese regulatory system. Chinese regulators have blocked the $37 billion IPO of Ant Group, launching an investigation into their business.

Diario di Majorca wrote that Jack Ma was seen on the island of Andrach on Tuesday. He was buying household items from a local store. His yacht has been plying along the north-west coast of Mayorca for the past few days. The yacht anchored in the city of Santa Ponsa on Wednesday.

The cinematographers reached there on information, but Jack could not see Ma. On the other hand, the newspaper EI Pace reported that Jack Ma visited the Balearic Islands on Saturday along with several Chinese businessmen and security personnel.
