The Meteorological Department has warned of further increase in pollution in the coming days. It is being said that the situation of pollution has arisen due to low wind speed.

In the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China’s capital zone, pollution usually increases during winter. There is an increase in pollution especially in such an era, when the speed of the wind decreases. However, it is expected that the cold wave coming from Siberia will be able to get rid of this pollution.

Let us tell you that China has set a target of reducing PM 2.5 particles by up to 4 percent every year. According to the US embassy in Beijing, the air quality in the city has deteriorated and it is a matter of concern.

According to the Chinese Environment Ministry, efforts are being made to reduce pollution in 64 cities where industries are running. The Winter Olympics are to be held in Beijing and its neighboring city of Zhangjiakou in February next year. The event is to be held from February 4 to 20. In such a situation, pollution has emerged as a big problem.

It is worth noting that the level of pollution in Delhi has also increased for the last few days. A thick blanket of pollution has been seen in the city even on the next morning of Diwali. Apart from Delhi, visibility in neighboring cities of Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad has also been reduced due to smog.
