Washington. A major accident has happened in Waukesha, Wisconsin state of America. Here on Sunday, people involved in the Christmas parade were hit by a speeding SUV. In which many people have died.
While around 20 people have been injured. City Police Chief Dan Thompson said the “suspicious vehicle” had been recovered and an investigation was underway (Wisconsin Christmas Parade Driver). Some of the injured have been admitted to the hospital by the police and some by their families.
The police have appealed to the people not to go near the spot (Christmas Parade Crash). In the video of the incident, an SUV is seen breaking the barriers and hitting the people taking out the parade. Thompson said, ‘The vehicle hit 20 people. These also include children (Wisconsin Accident). Many people have also died due to the incident. When asked about the death of people, the police chief said, ‘I do not know the exact number of dead at this time.’
It is not yet clear whether this incident is related to terrorism or not. Many videos of the incident are going viral on social media. In one of the videos, it can be seen how the car leaves by trampling people. The people present there shout a lot, yet the driver does not stop the car. In another video, the police are seen firing at the vehicle as it overtook the road blockades. Thompson said a police officer fired at the vehicle, leaving no one in the vehicle injured.

A woman named Belen Santamaria, who was present at the scene, said that she was planning to attend the parade in the evening with her husband and three-year-old daughter. She works in a factory. He started having back pain, due to which his family stood on the sidewalk and watched the parade. She says, ‘An SUV had come at a high speed. Then I started hearing people shouting.
