A high-speed car entered a crowd and crushed protesters during a Protest issued on Friday afternoon in New York’s Manhattan area. The accused crushed a crowd of about 50 people from a BMW car in which several people were injured. The New York City Police Department has said that the woman driving the car has been taken into custody for questioning.
The incident occurred at 4 pm Friday when protesters gathered at the corner of 39th Street and Third Avenue in Murray Hill, adjacent to Midtown Manhattan. Police said that there is no risk of life to any injured and the lady driver of the car also stayed on the spot after the incident. Local media reports said that six people were hit directly by the car, but it was not clear how many people were taken to hospitals.
