At least five people were killed and five others injured in a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin. Madison Police Chief Shawn Barnes says the dead include the suspected attacker. Police said the shooting took place at Abundant Life Christian School in the state capital Madison.

Madison police said in a statement that the incident is under investigation. More information will be released as soon as it is available. For now, people need to stay away from the area. Police had closed the streets around the school on Monday afternoon. According to the school website, Abundant Life Christian School is non-sectarian and has about 390 students from kindergarten to high school.

Incidents of shooting in American schools increased
