Dubai: The Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane met the General Commander and Staff of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Major General Saleh Muhammad Saleh Al Ameri to discuss mutual interest and defense cooperation. General Narwane is on a visit to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, two Gulf countries considered strategically important these days. This information was given by the Additional Directorate of Public Information of the Indian Army on Friday. General Narwane took a salute parade at UAE Army Headquarters on Wednesday and paid homage at the memorial of the martyrs.

During this, he (Manoj Mukund Naravane) also visited the Army Institute. The purpose of the Army Chief’s visit to the UAE is to increase bilateral bilateral defense cooperation. The statement issued by the army said that General Narwane visited the United Arab Emirates from December 9 to 10.
