Former US President Bill Clinton discharged from hospital, treatment will continue at home

Washington, ANI. Former US President Bill Clinton was discharged from hospital on Sunday. He was being treated for a urine infection at a hospital in Southern California. Recently, Clinton spokeswoman Angel Ureena said that former President Clinton’s health had improved significantly in the past 24 hours.

The treatment of the former President is going on under the supervision of the team of Dr. Alpesh Amin. He told Clinton he would be treated at home to complete his course of antibiotics. Also said that Clinton’s fever has been cured and the number of white blood cells has also become normal now.

Clinton, 75, was hospitalized on Tuesday. A Clinton aide said she had a urinary tract infection that had spread to her bloodstream.

Recently, her spokeswoman Ureena tweeted that Clinton was admitted to the ICU of the University of California Irvine Medical Center for a urinary tract infection. Also he had said that this is not a matter related to Corona.

Biden also spoke to former President Clinton

President Joe Biden said on Friday night that he had spoken to Bill Clinton and wished the former president a speedy recovery. Biden told the University of Connecticut that he was in good health.

Bill Clinton served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001. In the years since Clinton left the White House in 2001, the former president has suffered from health issues.

He underwent quad bypass surgery in 2004 after prolonged chest pain and shortness of breath. He went to the hospital in 2005 for a partially damaged lung surgery and then in 2010 a pair of stents were placed in the coronary artery.
