Excerpts from Trump’s statement recorded in October in a lawsuit filed by Jean Carroll have been publicly released after a federal judge rejected a request by Trump’s lawyers to keep it sealed. Journalist said that Trump had raped in the shop
A hearing is expected in this regard in April. Trump said he never met Carroll at a store in Manhattan in the mid-1990s. In his day-long testimony, Trump attacked Carroll for portraying him as a rapist. In 2019, a book by Carroll was published in which she alleged that Trump assaulted her in a dressing room after they met at a Manhattan store in late 1995 and early 1996.
