Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) vice-president Maryam Nawaz on Thursday targeted the Imran government over the election for the upcoming Senate. He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will decide when the Senate will be elected, not Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to Dawn, the Pakistani government has decided to hold the Senate elections in February ahead of time as a strategy to weaken the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) campaign. The PDM’s campaign against the Imran Khan government is getting stronger day by day.
Maryam while speaking to reporters in Lahore said, ‘You can hold the Senate elections a month before or a month later, but you cannot save your government. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) doesn’t bother you, so what happened that announced the election to be held a month ago. Never before has this happened in the history of the country.

Number of days left for imran sarkar
Maryam further said that looking at the actions of the government, it seems that there are few days left for the Imran government. Whatever strategy you use, your defeat is certain. He said that the Prime Minister has finished dragging national institutions into politics.
In what capacity announced the election
Maryam also said that the schedule of all elections has been decided by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). All decisions regarding elections are taken by the same. No Prime Minister can take a decision regarding this. In what capacity did you announce the decision to hold the Senate elections a month ago? Did you not consult the Constitution of Pakistan? Did none of your advisors tell you that this is the job of this epee? The opposition will not sit silent.
