Pushcha Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’-led camp (Prachanda-led faction) has wrested the status of leader of the parliamentary party of the ruling Nepal Communist Party from KP Sharma Oli. According to news agency ANI, now Pushp Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party in place of Oli. The decision was taken unanimously in the meeting of the camp led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
Just a day earlier, Pushp Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ Neet Khemé (Prachanda-led faction) removed PM KP Sharma Oli from the post of the chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) after a Central Committee meeting. It is known that earlier, Oli (KP Sharma Oli) on Tuesday formed a new 1199-member committee to organize the General Assembly of the party with the intention of strengthening its hold on the organization.
According to the news agency PTI, the Prachanda-led camp unanimously appointed senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal as the second president of the party in the Central Committee meeting. Prachanda is the first president of Nepal Communist Party, NCP. Now Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal will preside over the meetings in turn as per party rules.

According to the report, due to allegations of going against the party (Nepal Communist Party, NCP), the same action has been taken against Oli.
