Pak PM Imran Khan while speaking to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has reiterated his support for the Afghanistan-led peace process in the war-affected country. Imran Khan and Ashraf Ghani are in talks after a Taliban Political Commission (TPC) delegation arrived in Islamabad on a three-day visit to Doha, Qatar’s capital.

TPC is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Khan. The Pakistan PM’s office has said that Khan welcomed the progress of the Inter-Afghan Dialogue in Doha recently and said that Pakistan would be in touch with all Afghan parties so that the progress of the talks would be inclusive and towards a comprehensive political solution. He told President Ashraf Ghani that the Afghan-led peace talks are important for regional stability.
