Islamabad 31 people have been arrested in connection with the attack on the Hindu temple in Pakistan. The special thing is that among those arrested are the district level leaders of Jamial Ulama-e-Islam Fazl. According to Pakistan’s English newspaper The Dawn, the police made these arrests on Thursday. Significantly , a large number of people gathered in Pakistan on Wednesday targeted the Hindu temple. The attackers set fire to it here.

Police officials told ‘The Don’ that Rehmat Salam Khattak, a senior leader of JUI-F, has also been arrested. He said that Rahmat has been arrested from his residence in Chokara area of ​​Takht-e-Nusrati Tehsil. The officials informed that during the operation, raids have been taken on the houses of the people involved in the case.

Police said that many people have gone underground to avoid arrest. Significantly, the police have registered an FIR against those involved in the damage to the religious place, hurting religious sentiments, theft, arson, mischief and assault. A case has also been registered in this FIR under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

According to The Dawn, the FIR states that Maulana Mohammad Sharif had told the crowd about the temple during the protest. During this time, Maulana had said that neither the temple of Hindus nor the Hindus would be allowed to come on Terry’s land. It has been said that during the speech, Maulana had told 1000-1500 people to break the tomb. According to the FIR, Maulana had told the crowd that whoever would be killed by breaking the temple would be called a martyr.

According to the FI, around 400 people, led by Maulana, attacked the mausoleum and set it on fire. Not only this, according to the report of The Dawn, the attackers also attacked the police, while in the FIR it has been said that the crowd had also taken artifacts from the tomb.
