New Delhi. A shooting has occurred in California, USA, once again. A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy was killed in the shooting. On Monday morning, a report of an armed man threatening a woman in Rancho Cucamonga was received. Police arrived at the scene to respond.
Upon arriving at the scene, the suspect opened fire on the deputy, killing him at the scene. The deceased police officer was identified as Deputy Andrew Nunez, who had served with the department for six years. He is survived by his two-year-old daughter and a pregnant wife, according to a police release.

The encounter began around 12:37 a.m. Monday in the 12300 block of Hollyhock Drive. According to authorities, the suspect fired shots, killing Nunez, and then fled on a motorcycle. Police, with the help of other agencies, attempted to pursue the suspect but were unable to apprehend him. A video was later shared showing the suspect colliding with a car.
The accused is undergoing treatment at the hospital
According to police, the suspect has been apprehended and is being treated at a hospital. Police have not yet publicly released his identity. He will be charged with murder after his treatment.
