Renowned sandalwood industry artist Puneet Rajkumar passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was only 46 years old. Puneet was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru this morning after his health deteriorated. There was an uproar in the industry as soon as the news of Puneet going to the hospital came out.
According to media reports, Puneet Rajkumar suffered a heart attack after which he was admitted to the hospital. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved. Shivrajkumar’s daughter Nivedita reached the hospital as soon as she got this news. Star Ravichandran and producers Jayanna and K P Srikanth also reached the hospital to see Puneet’s condition. Fans are deeply shocked by the news of Puneet’s death.
Additional police personnel have been deployed outside actor Puneet Rajkumar’s hospital and home. Actually, a crowd of fans has gathered there knowing about his death.
All the veteran celebrities have condoled the death of Puneet. Actor Sonu Sood wrote, ‘Heartbroken. You will always be remembered brother. Actor Puneet was called Appu by the fans. He is the son of actors Rajkumar and Parvathamma.
Actor Siddharth wrote – I cannot believe that you have left us, Puneet. Kind, talented, fearless… you gave so much to this world. It’s not okay bro. Heart is broken. Virender Sehwag tweeted, ‘Deeply pained to hear the news of Puneet Rajkumar’s demise. What a noble and decent person, his passing is a big setback for Indian cinema. may his soul rest in peace.

Puneet attended the pre-release event of Bhajrangi 2 and was expected to visit the film today. He was last seen in the film ‘Yuvaratna’. Puneeth Rajkumar had also tweeted this morning congratulating the film and now the news of his death has taken everyone by surprise.
