Washington:  Five people died this week in the northeastern states of the United States due to the blizzard. A channel giving the weather condition in the country has given its information. Electricity was cut off in view of the safety of the people. Due to this, more than 70 thousand people remained without electricity on Thursday morning. Hundreds of vehicles crashed in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Meanwhile, Spirit Airlines flight at Maryland’s BWI Marshall Airport crashed onto the runway after landing safely. However, the occupants of the aircraft were not harmed. There were 111 people on the plane. WBFF-TV has informed about this. Two people have died due to snow storm in New York. On Thursday, Governor Andrew Cuomo gave this information.

Xinhua quoted news agency IANS has informed that hundreds of flights have been canceled due to snow storm in New York. According to Cuomo, it has resulted in 600 vehicle accidents in New York. Thousands more flights have been canceled due to heavy snowfall. These include 500 aircraft to and from the three major airports around Manhattan Island. Aviation software and data services company Flightware has informed about this.
