Islamabad, ANI. Under US pressure, Pakistan has not announced recognition of the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

But the appointed diplomats of the Taliban government have reached Islamabad and started working. It is feared that Pakistan has secretly recognized the Taliban government.

Two Taliban officials and two Afghan diplomats have told Voice of America that Taliban-appointed diplomats have arrived at the Afghan embassy in Islamabad.

He started working there. With this, consulates located in different cities of Pakistan have also started functioning. Earlier, a copy of the notification issued by the Taliban government reached the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad.

Pakistani officials say these diplomats have been allowed to work, although the Taliban government has not yet been recognized.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kabul Mansoor Khan has confirmed that Afghan officials have been granted visas to visit Pakistan. Afghan officials have been given visas to work in the embassy while staying in Pakistan.

They have been asked to provide facilities in that work. He clarified that issuing the visa does not mean that Pakistan has recognized the Taliban government. This is a travel facility.

It is noteworthy that the government of Pakistan is making efforts to get the recognition of the Taliban government of Afghanistan, but so far no country has announced recognition. Malej Dawood, former chief of staff to former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, has said that the Taliban government will not last more than two years.

Because from now on their hold on the country has started weakening. He said this in an interview with a European organization.
