Washington, Agencies. Three people, including a teenager, were killed in a stabbing incident in the US state of Arkansas. Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) gave this information.
A day earlier on Sunday, in a tweet, police said, ‘At least three people died in the block of Tilles Away 2800. According to the report of news agency ANI, an FSPD officer fired in self-defense to save himself from the knife attack.
The accused was attacking the son’s head
Fort Smith City Police Chief Danny Bakker said a man was hitting his 15-year-old son in the head and face with a stone. When the officer stopped, he attacked. The officer then opened fire on him in which he died. The teenager was declared brought dead at the hospital. The body of a 42-year-old woman was found in a nearby house. He too was stabbed to death.
Firing in university campus, one dead, seven injured
According to news agency IANS, one person was killed and seven others were injured in a shooting at the Grambling State University campus in the US state of Louisiana. One of the injured is in critical condition. It was not a university student who fired at one o’clock on Sunday night. Only one student is among the injured.
Curfew imposed in university
Curfew has been imposed in the university from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Monday and Tuesday classes were cancelled. Four days ago on October 13, one person was also killed and three others were injured in a firing incident on the premises.
