Dubai. Flights from India and Pakistan (India-Pakistan) to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have started. In such a situation, there has been a big jump in flight tickets. Travel agents said that since the announcement of the resumption of flights, ticket prices on all routes from India and Kistan to the UAE have gone up by at least 50 per cent.
According to the report, non-stop, one-way, economy tickets from Cochin, Kerala to Dubai, UAE usually cost Dh700-Dh850. Now its prices have reached Dh1,050-Dh1100.
Similarly, the airfare for economy class, between Mumbai and Dubai has exceeded Dh1,300. This is a temporary fare for the week starting 12th August and onwards. Passengers who have traveled to UAE or booked their tickets for the journey before August 10, have to spend more money.
Similarly, an economy-class ticket from Karachi to Dubai, which normally sold for Dh600-Dh650, now costs Dh1,200 and more.
Such a huge increase in ticket prices points to the large number of passengers on routes connecting different cities of India and Pakistan with the UAE.
