US presidential candidate Donald Trump on Friday said something about his rival Kamala Harris that even Americans may not be able to digest.
In a speech given at a rally of religious supporters, Trump falsely accused election rival Kamala Harris of being anti-Semitic and planning to allow the killing of newborn babies. Trump was referring to the Hamas attack on Israel, in which more than a thousand Israelis were killed, including many newborn babies.
The interesting thing here is that Kamala Harris herself is married to a Jewish man. In such a situation, accusing her of being anti-Semitic is hardly beneficial for Trump. US surveys show that Vice President Kamala Harris has gained a lead over Trump in the polling since replacing Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket just a few days ago.
Former Republican President Donald Trump spent much of his address at a religious conference in southern Florida bashing Harris’ record as a senator, AFP reported. But many of his attacks were out of touch with reality. Trump said Kamala Harris did not attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to the US Congress on Wednesday and instead attended another event. Trump accused Kamala of being baselessly anti-Semitic for this.
Trump said, “She doesn’t like Jewish people. She doesn’t like Israel. It is like that, and it will always be like that. She is not going to change.” Earlier on Wednesday in North Carolina, Trump had also said that Kamala Harris is “totally against the Jewish people.” Trump is now openly playing the Jewish card. The one-hour speech on Friday was organized by the radical right-wing Turning Point Action.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has stepped up his attack on Democratic frontrunner Kamala Harris, saying if elected, she would be the “worst liberal president in American history.” Vice President Harris (59) is now the presumptive Democratic nominee after outgoing President Joe Biden (81) withdrew from the presidential race.
Former President Trump (78) described Harris as excessively liberal on issues of immigration and abortion. He described Harris as the most incompetent, unpopular and extreme leftist vice president in American history. Trump said, “If Kamala Harris is elected, she will prove to be the worst liberal president in the history of America… As a member of the Senate, Harris was number one among the most extreme leftist Democrat leaders in the entire Senate.”
He said, “Our job is to defeat socialism, defeat Marxism, defeat communism, defeat gangs and criminals and human traffickers, women traffickers. This means defeating Kamala Harris with a huge majority. We want to win big this November.”
