Washington: The Trump administration has published a list of Chinese and Russian companies with alleged military ties on Monday, which prohibits them from purchasing a wide range of American goods and technologies. Last month, Reuters reported for the first time that the US Department of Commerce has prepared a list of companies that are linked to the Chinese or Russian military.
The list does not include Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), Colorado’s Arrow Electronics and Texas-based TTI Inc. However, the Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute, which designs COMAC aircraft, and the Shanghai aircraft manufacturing company that manufactures COMAC planes are on this list. The final list names 103 institutions, of which 58 are attached to the Chinese Army and 45 are to the Russian Army.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said on Monday that the action was a new process to end military intervention. Explain that the final list was published on the Commerce Department website on Monday and is to be posted for public inspection on Tuesday in the Federal Register. At the same time, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian reported the news of this list in November as the unprovoked suppression of Chinese companies by the United States.
Tensions between the United States and China have increased over the past year, as President Donald Trump blamed China for the corona virus epidemic. The last-minute move by the Trump administration has added dozens of Chinese companies to the US business blacklist. It also includes the country’s top chipmaker, SMIC and drone manufacturer SZ DJI Technology Company Limited. The US government is also concerned about China military-civilian fusion. This is a policy that aims to build its military strength and technological development.
