London, ap. Protests against the use of conventional fuels have begun in the UK ahead of the United Nations Climate Summit to be held in Glasgow, Scotland. 

Protesters have started gathering in London’s major commercial center. The protesters also took out a march on Friday. The United Nations Climate Change Convention has been named CAP-26. The conference is to be held in Glasgow on November 1 and 2. The protesters started arriving even before the leaders arrived.

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has also joined the protests. Environmental lovers, who advocate for climate protection, say that this conference is the last chance for the world’s heads of state, in which they can stop the menace of climate change.

Protests have begun outside the Climate Justice Memorial in Lloyd’s, London’s main market.

The protesters are demanding that global institutions stop investing in the use of conventional biofuels. Protesters also took out a march in front of several organizations in London.

Many environmentalists are calling the conference, which runs from October 31 to November 12, as the world’s last chance to change the course of the fight against climate change.

In London, activists gather at the Climate Justice Memorial outside Lloyd’s Insurance Marketplace in the morning. He offered red flowers there and there it was written ‘Arise, remember and protest’.

Protesters are demanding that the global financial system stop investing in fossil fuels. He is likely to campaign at various places in London. The International Bank Standard Chartered is going to be the main venue for their performance.

Later he will also go to the Bank of England. He also plans to visit the British banks Lloyds and Barclay.

The demonstration in London is part of a global demonstration ahead of the leaders’ gathering in Glasgow for the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
