Washington: America and China are once again face to face with Hong Kong. The United States on Monday imposed sanctions against 14 Chinese officials to reduce Hong Kong’s autonomy, continuing the ban. The US State Department has shared information that the ban is against individuals. Everyone banned is a member of the National People’s Congress of China. Significantly, the US President Donald Trump is standing on his stand for China even after losing the election. The newly elected President Joe Biden will take over in the US on January 20, but Trump has indicated that despite the defeat, his attitude towards China has remained unchanged.
