Presidential elections are going to be held in the US in the month of November. In this election too, Donald Trump will once again contest for the post of President from the Republican Party. Dr. Sampat Shivangi has been chosen as the representative for the sixth time in a row. The doctor will formally nominate former US President Donald Trump as the party’s presidential candidate.

Indian-origin Dr Sampat Shivangi has been elected as an official delegate to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this month, where delegates from across the country will nominate Donald Trump as the party’s presidential candidate.

78-year-old Trump is the likely candidate of the Republican Party. Dr. Sampath, an influential leader of the Indian-American community, has been elected as a national delegate to the convention for the sixth time. He said that Trump will be formally nominated as the party’s candidate for the November 5 presidential election at the four-day Republican National Convention in Wisconsin.

Ramaswami got support from US Senator John Ossoff

At the same time, US Senator John Ossoff has supported Ashwin Ramaswami, the first Gen-Z Indian candidate contesting for the Georgia State Senate. 24-year-old Ramaswami is contesting from the Democratic Party for the State Senate in District 48 of Georgia. This support is considered a big advantage against the current State Senator Shawn Still. If Ramaswami wins, he will be the youngest representative in the history of Georgia. Those born between 1997 and 2012 are called Generation Z or Zoomers.
