Trump has appointed female Hindu leader Tulsi Gabbard as the head of the National Intelligence Department. Gabbard, a four-time MP from the Democratic Party, openly supported Trump during the elections.

Gabbard, 43, is known in the US for her Hindu beliefs, although her parents are Christians. Over the past four years, she has openly criticized the Biden administration.
