America: Joe Biden extended National Emergency for one year over Iran

US President Joe Biden has announced to extend the state of Iran-imposed National Emergency for one year in 1995.

This is a kind of legal basis through which various sanctions are imposed on Iran for supporting nuclear weapons and terrorist organizations

US President’s Office White House gave this information on Friday. According to the statement issued by the President’s Office, the National Emergency implemented on 15 March 1995 under Section 202D of the National Emergency Act in relation to Iran is extended for a year beyond 15 March 2021

Biden said that Iran’s activities and its policies remain a constant threat to America’s national security, foreign policy and economy. He also accused Iran of developing nuclear weapons and supporting terrorist organizations
