The Standing Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress on Saturday passed the 11th Amendment draft in criminal law during its 24th session. According to China Daily, children who are guilty of killing or seriously injuring will be punished. The National People’s Congress Standing Committee passed an amendment on Saturday which will come into effect from 1 March. It is for children between 12 and 14 years old.
