According to the report of news agency PTI, this pill is considered to be very beneficial for people who are in the highest risk category from the virus. This antiviral pill has been named Lagavario (molnupiravir). It has been found to be safe and effective in tests. Its use reduces the risk of people being hospitalized or dying from infection.
