As a result, it was seen that the way antibodies were formed in adults after taking the vaccine, similarly there was a response in the body of children.
For those over the age of 18, Moderna has been approved and dosages are being administered. Now it is waiting for approval on the application given for children. In June, it had applied for use for children and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years. It lagged behind its rivals Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE.
In May itself, both of them got permission to use for children. On Tuesday, the panel will decide whether a dose of the corona vaccine Pfizer should be given to children between the ages of 5 and 11.
