Covid-19 Vaccine: 200 million doses of the vaccine will be donated this year while the remaining doses will be donated during the first six months of 2022.

Washington. There is an uproar around the world these days due to Coronavirus. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are fixed on the corona vaccine (Covid-19 Vaccine). Meanwhile, the good news is that America will donate 500 million vaccines. It is going to benefit 92 countries of the world. This vaccine will be given to poor countries through the Covax Coalition (COVAX). Apart from this, the African Union will also be given free vaccines. For this, America will buy 500 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine.

According to reports, President Joe Biden will announce this on Thursday in a speech before the start of the Group Seven summit. 200 million doses of the vaccine will be donated this year while the rest will be donated during the first six months of 2022.

The US is preparing the plan:
Biden is committed to sharing the vaccine because it is in America’s public health and strategic interest, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters on Wednesday. The US has faced pressure to outline a global plan for vaccine sharing.

Estimated 8 crore vaccines this month

In total, the White House has announced to share 80 million doses worldwide by the end of June, most of which will be given through Covax.
