Crown Prince’s reply to Biden on increasing crude supply, ‘No need for US, focus on demand and supply’

President Joe Biden is very upset due to rising inflation and rising oil prices in America. Inflation in the US is heading towards the highest level in 30 years. At the same time, in view of the rising price of petrol, President Biden has put pressure on Saudi Arabia to increase the supply of oil. Because of rising inflation and rising oil prices, Biden seems politically helpless.

On the issue of increasing the supply of crude oil, US diplomats first tried to persuade Saudi Arabia privately and then publicly. The diplomats of both the countries themselves gave this information. America’s growing diplomatic pressure had to be faced by the 36-year-old Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has the ability to change oil prices.

But the Crown Prince of Saudi is not ready to bow to the pressure of America. In fact, Prince Mohammed was concerned about the basic needs related to the supply and demand of oil, not the political needs of Washington. Yet if President Biden wants cheaper petrol, then Prince Mohammed also has his own conditions. It also includes something that the Saudi Prince has not yet received from the White House.

Biden refuses to talk to Crown Prince

Since Biden took the presidency of the United States, he has only spoken to King Salman, the father of Prince Mohammed. Biden has refused to speak directly to Crown Prince Mohammed.

Biden said in October, without naming Prince Mohammed, that there are many friends in the Middle East who want to talk to me. But I am not sure that I will talk to him. Earlier in October, Joe Biden said that Russia, Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries are not increasing the supply of oil and this is not correct.

Overall, US President Biden did not get the extra oil he wanted from Saudi. In response, Biden was forced to exploit the country’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve on Tuesday. This decision of the US may increase the risk among the Saudi-led OPEC + organization.
