New York: For the elimination of the corona virus, scientists are working day and night to make effective medicines or vaccines. In this series, a team of researchers have now discovered a drug that can eliminate corona infection in just 24 hours. Scientists claim that the drug called MK-4482 / EIDD-2801 is capable of completely eradicating corona. It is also known as Molnupiravir. Use of this medicine can prevent the spread of infection in corona patients as well as protect them from other serious diseases occurring in the future.
Georgia State University researchers find out new drug
The effectiveness of this drug is described in detail in the Journal of Nature Microbiology. It states that researchers at Georgia State University have identified the drug. According to the author of this study, Richard Plumper, it is the first medicine to be treated for treatment of corona. It may prove to be a game-changer in the treatment of Corona.

Researchers said, ‘Because this drug is being ingested, its benefits are seen three times faster than others. This drug can be used according to the symptoms of the patient.
Study done like this
Plumper said initial research found the drug to be effective in eradicating influenza-like deadly flu, after which it was researched to prevent infection with the corona virus. During this time, the scientists first infected some animals with the corona, and immediately as soon as those animals started releasing the virus from the nose, they were given the drug molnopyravir. The infected animals were placed in the same cage with the healthy animals after giving the drug molnapiravir to see if the infection was spread.

Use of this medicine will eliminate infection from the patient’s body within 24 hours.
Joseph Wolf, co-author of this study, said that during research, it was found that the infection did not spread from infected animals to healthy animals. They say that if this medicine is used on infected patients, then the infection will be eliminated from the patient’s body in just 24 hours.
