Pak Supreme Court orders Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, says – Build temple in 2 weeks

Pak Supreme Court : A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today regarding the temple demolition case in Pakistan. At the hearing, the court expressed strong displeasure and ordered the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to reconstruct the shrine of Shri Paramahansa Ji Maharaj within two weeks along with the temple. The Chief Justice also said that only those who sabotage the temple will bear the cost of its reconstruction.

Explain that more than 100 people have been arrested in the temple demolition case so far. Those arrested were produced in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) and the court sent the accused to police custody for three days. Human rights activists and minority Hindu community leaders have strongly condemned the attack on the temple.

At the same time, 8 police officers have also been suspended by the Government of Pakistan in this case. India had also lodged a protest with Pakistan over the vandalism in the temple and demanded strict action against the culprits of the incident.

The mob, led by some local clerics and supporters of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Party (Fazl ur Rehman group), demolished the old structure as well as the new construction work at Terry village in Karak district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa last Wednesday. Was set and set on fire.
