Islamabad: In the atmosphere of political chaos in Pakistan, the Imran government wants to increase its strength in the Upper House (Senate). For this, it has been decided to hold the elections for the Upper House (Senate) to be held in March 2021, one month in February itself. This decision was taken by the Central Government in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. 52 seats are due to be vacated on March 11 after the retirements of MPs in the 104-member Senate. As of now, the opposition coalition remains the Pakistan Democratic Movement as a decisive force in the Senate.

Public confidence in Pak government decreased
Government conditions in Pakistan are bad. The public’s trust in the government has ended. A recent survey has revealed that there are four out of every five Pakistanis who believe that the government is going in the wrong direction. His policies are hurting the country rather than the public. This survey has been done by IPAOS. In the survey conducted across the country, 79 percent of the people said that the policies of the government were taking the country in the wrong direction, whereas only 21 percent of those who supported it. In the case of unemployment, it has been assumed that unemployment has increased rapidly for some time.
