WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom has announced that the world can now imagine the end of this global pandemic after the corona virus vaccine has positive results.

The United Nations

World Health Organization (WHO) announced Friday that the corona virus vaccine trial’s positive results meant that the world could “conceive of the end of the epidemic.” However, he also said that rich and powerful countries should not crush poor and weak countries in this stampede of corona virus vaccine.

WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom warned that the virus could be stopped but the path was still fraught with risk. He said that the corona virus epidemic has shown humanity its best and worst thing. His point was about abandonment and sacrifice, unexpected successes in the fields of science and technology and self interest, accusations on each other and differences.

‘We have to deal with poverty, hunger, inequality’

pointing to the deaths and infections currently occurring with the corona virus, without naming any country, Tedros said that the virus persists and is spreading among them. The WHO chief warned in a virtual meeting that vaccine would not reduce the hypersensitivity that is at the root of it. He said that when the epidemic ends, we have to deal with issues like poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change.

The WHO Chief stated that a beam of light is rapidly flowing across the tunnel, but the corona virus vaccine must surely be shared equally for the benefit of the global public and not as a private product. Otherwise it will increase inequality and it will become another reason for people to be left behind.
