Washington: Doctor Joseph Varon, who was treating coronavirus patients at a Texas hospital, saw an unhappy elderly man in the Kovid-19 ICU. Varon approached the elderly man and supported him on his shoulders and began to share his grief. Then, on Thanksgiving Day, this heart-touching picture of Varon supporting an elderly person was captured by a photographer from Getty Images, which is now becoming viral worldwide.

Varun, chief of staff at United Memorial Medical Center in Houston, told CNN that he was entering Kovid ICU when he saw the elderly patient “out of his bed and trying to get out of the room.” Said, he was crying, so I got close to him and I asked him, “Why are you crying?” The elder then said, “I want to be with my wife.” Then I went close to him and caught him. I was feeling very sorry for him. I was feeling very sad, just like him. Finally he Felt better and stopped crying. ”

Varon told CNN on Monday that he has been working continuously for 256 days. The doctor said, I don’t know why I haven’t broken yet, my nurses cry during the day. “Varon said that it was very difficult for many patients, especially the elderly, to disassemble the Kovid unit. They said, you imagine You are in a room where people are coming in spacesuits. If you are an elderly person, it is more difficult because you are alone. ” Varon said, “Some of them cry. Some try to run, one tries to run through the window the other day.”

Varon has also given a message to those who are not taking precautions in the midst of the epidemic. He said, “People are roaming in bars, restaurants, malls, they are all crazy, they don’t listen first and then they get into the ICU. They need to keep the basic things in mind – keep social distance, wear masks , Wash hands and avoid going to places where there are too many people. ”
