Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recalled the 1971 massacre in the country and said that Bangladesh cannot forget this massacre. Remembering those killed in the massacre, he said that we should take an oath that now such atrocities will not be repeated.

It is noteworthy that in 2017, Sheikh Hasina told the whole world about the massacre by Pakistani army in the United Nations. The Pakistan Army carried out the massacre on 25 March 1971 while operating Operation Searchlight.
