New York:  The name of another Indian has been added to the team of US President-elect Joe Biden , the newly elected President of the United States . Biden and US Deputy President Kamala Harris have appointed Indian American Maju Varghese Indian-American Maju Varghese as executive director of the celebrations to be held at the swearing-in ceremony. Indian-American Maju Varghese is the fifth Indian to be assigned major responsibilities by Biden and Kamla. Earlier Monday, Biden formally announced the appointment of Neera Tandon as director of the office’s management and budget. This has increased the value of India all over the world.

Played a key role in Biden’s election campaign

Varghese has played an important and successful role in Biden’s election campaign. He served as Biden’s senior advisor during the election. In Biden’s election campaign, he supplied multimillion-dollar logistics nationwide. During this, he connected thousands of activists to this campaign across the country.

Varghese was special assistant to former President Barack Obam

Indians find place in Biden administration

Other Indians have also found an important place in Biden’s team. President Biden, who is from the United States of America, has appointed Indian Americans to many other important positions. Vivek’s former surgeon general Vivek Murthy has also joined Biden’s team. Last month, when the media declared Biden elected to the post of President, he appointed Vivek as co-chairman of the Kovid-19 task force. In addition, two other Indians have been named as heads of committees in the Biden administration. Arun Majumdar has been given the responsibility of the Department of Energy.
