World Health Organization in talks to take Bharat Biotech in technology sharing group

Geneva, Pretr.  The World Health Organization (WHO) is in talks with the company to include Bharat Biotech in the global health agency’s technology sharing group. A top WHO official gave this information on Wednesday.

Dr. Mariangela Simao, WHO’s assistant director general for ‘Access to Medicines and Health Products’, said, ‘I think it is very important that the production of vaccines has increased in different continents.

He said, ‘I am happy to share that we are in talks with the company to include Bharat Biotech in the Corona technology sharing group. The ‘Corona Technology Sharing Group’ is a platform through which WHO coordinates with other partners on technology sharing, practical knowledge and licensing regarding corona vaccines and treatments.
