US-China tensions: Washington-Beijing relations bruised by this drastic step of America, know what is the whole matter

Washington, Agency. Once the Presidential elections are over in the US, once again the relations between America and China have become very strong. The US State Department once again called China’s Communist Party a threat to national security. The Foreign Ministry on Saturday listed 80 Chinese companies mentioned in the US Stock Exchange. The ministry says that inadvertently, American citizens are recklessly investing in these Chinese companies. Many companies included in the list are involved in China’s military activities. The list comes amid deteriorating relations between the US and China.

Companies involved in CCP and China’s military activities

The US State Department says that the companies identified are related to China’s military activities. Mostly belong to the Communist Party of China. Many companies are also listed in China’s Defense Department. An official statement issued by the State Department said that several major stock and bond indices developed by index providers such as MSCI and FTSE include the People’s Republic. The statement said that some of these companies produce technology for the surveillance of citizens and the suppression of human rights. These companies are related to criminal offenses. They belong to the oppression of Uygar Muslims, especially in Xinjiang, China.

America puts a break on China’s cultural programs

Let us tell you that on Friday, the US stopped five programs disguised as cultural exchanges with China. The United States says that these programs were fully funded by the China Communist Party. On December 3, the US government also ordered a ban on cotton imports from China’s Shiljiang. It was argued that this step has been taken due to the violation of human rights of Uygar Muslims.

US imposes ban on Chinese officials

The US on Friday imposed a visa ban on Chinese officials and those engaged in foreign influence operations. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that the ban will apply to Chinese Communist Party officials or those who take part in publicity campaigns involving the United Front Department. Pompeo stated in a stern tone that the US would continue to enforce such visa restrictions. Without naming China, he said that people who violate international rules cannot be welcomed in America. Such restrictions will apply to them.
