Somehow or the other his video went viral on social media. After this an appeal was made to snatch the title from him. After this the Malaysian beauty queen was forced to return her title. Let us tell you that 24-year-old Veeru Nikah Terinsip had won the title of Unduk Ngadau Johor in 2023.
Kadajandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) has called this behavior of Terencep as objectionable. Let us tell you that this is the same organization which gives this title. KDCA says that Veeru Nikah is a public figure, due to his actions the image of women has been hurt. He should not have danced like this.
At the same time, the president of this organization, Joseph Pairin Kitingan, said that I know that Veeru was on a private holiday. But he should not have done this. Terensip also posted a video on social media giving clarification on the viral video. In this video Veeru accepted the decision of KDCA. She said that she wants to return this title with great respect. I had participated in this competition by my choice and am returning without any pressure from anyone. Terensip further said that not everyone is perfect. Most of the mistakes happen. I too made a mistake. I realize what I did. I apologize for this. I respect my decision and that of the organization.
