The official said Atlas, a neuro-radiologist at Stanford University, has resigned from the temporary post. Let us tell that Atlas had no formal experience of dealing with public health or infectious diseases, despite this Trump has given him this position. Trump’s decision has been initially criticized. However, after Biden became President, he had little hope of retaining office. It was believed that he was removed from his post. This was also the case with Atlas, so he has already resigned from his post.

Atlas confirmed the news of his resignation in a tweet Monday evening. Please tell that Atlas was associated with the White House this summer. Atlas had confrontations on a range of issues with top government scientists including Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Brix. Atlas opposed strict measures to stop the Kovid-19. More than 267,000 people have died due to infection in the US.
